a lake, a cloud, a tree and endless grassland..

There are moments which freezes a person stiff, pausing time and space around him while he digests a scrubby short phrase that suddenly hit's the spot in his life. I'd like to call them turning points in a person as slowl the words sink and speak into their soul. I've had a few before and tonight while talking to jess i had another moment.
The weirdest thing is the fact i said it instead of her.

" are u afraid when your 90 and sitting in a coffeeshop looking back on your life realising you actually have done nothing significant with it?"

Both of us, sitting back, an odd pause was felt between 2 chatty and i dare say bitchy individuals while we both pondered about this. I exhaled the smoke from my marlboro ultra lights, she flicked the ash from her cigarette. Through the silence, both of us agreed quietly, more then death, spiders and cockroaches, we both feared being insignificant. Because we'll be forgotten. Our names lost in the sea of words by the people who once remembered us, and finally our memories will drift slowly away as these people join us us val hala.

you were my lesson i had to learn.
