when everyone is in..

I swear my dad's so blur it's hiliarious. This morning we went to ABN Ambro to do up his personal account and my savings account. The bank was on the 16th floor in taka. I made the mistake of letting him lead the way to the lifts, we went in two circles until he realised the toilet symbol was actually the lift symbol and promptly headed to the 16 floor.
Later he mistook the expresso making machine in the back thinking it dispenced hot water, but instead got a shot of expresso with the nescafe 3-in-1 instant coffee powder already in the cup. Now, the office girls found it funny, i jus placed my head in my hands and let out a whispering "not again". Maybe it was his trick, cuz after the office girls made coffee for us and even gave him a biscuit. Wtf?

Later we had to head on to HSBC at claymore hill. We drove past lido before entering the car park. The convo went as follows.

[dad] Is singtel now 24 hours?
[me] What huh? what do u mean
[dad]I jus saw some red umbrellas and a 24 hours sign
[me]eerr, dad, thats macdonals outside lido, their 24hours
[dad]Oh, since when? Who comes here at 3am must be crazy
[me] I do sometimes.

Silence.......

[dad] is this shaw building?
[me] Ya. Why
[dad] there used to be a movie theater upstairs long time ago
[me] erm, dad, it's still there
[dad] oh wow, how times have changed
[me] eerr, ya...*changed? the theater is still there!

*switches on radio...


22 years of this. Help.
